Introducing RAPOO A600 Bluetooth Portable NFC Speaker

Rapoo has done it again, new design classical style a bit of modern look and Gold Coated Aluminum metal border around the speaker.
For Aluminum metal border it is fine Curves and smooth feels, wont cut your hand while you holding it.
Weight will be around 0.08 kg, It is Designed from Taiwan, Produced in China.

Excellent Packaging Design which included standing box for the speaker.   From the packaging views will be like this (Figure 1.1,  1.2, 2.1, 2.2)

Most of all RAPOO A600 Bluetooth Portable NFC Speaker have: Bluetooth 4.0 / NFC-Fast Connection Technology /  Radiation Airflow Invert Technology and

Let’s take closer look of RAPOO A600 in details.

A600 Bottom Part, at the middle of the speaker, why there is white soft platform for?
It is to prevent slip away from any smooth / slippery surfaces table or shelve or any other places,
Excellent stability for the speaker A600. (Figure 3)

Micro USB Slot is for A600 Speaker, is to recharge it’s own battery and even plugin any USB flash disk devices enable to play Mp3 Music files.
For Audio input is the AUX Slot, better clear sound quality from any of your devices. such as your laptop, ipad, iphone etc…
Just by using both sides with traditional 3.5 mm Jack Cable.
Also have Noise-proof Dual Microphones , Able to talk without smartphones devices, just talk through this A600 Speaker.

From the back A600 Speaker to turn it on, by switching ON/Off Switch at the back, and the blue light will show at front view. (Figure 4.2 , Figure 6.2).
By Long press on Bluetooth the blue light will indicate keep blinking until it stop blink means that it is connected by the devices you want. (Figure 6.2, 7.3).

Conclusion…
It is good for Laptops or tablet or other products suit for this RAPOO A600 Bluetooth Portable NFC Speaker.( Windows / Apple Devices )
But what is NFC mean and stands for?  (NFC) stands for Near field communication is a set of standards for smartphones and similar devices to establish radio communication with each other by touching them together or bringing them into proximity, usually no more than a few inches.
NFC Helps you connect to your devices much faster and better sound quality, greater distances. (Figure 8)
A600 have 2x 3W bass output, 900mah Battery capacity.
I’m very impressed improvements of Bluetooth Reception area, distances coverage between 1 – 9.5 meter, after 10 meter start sound distorted.
If using communication Apps like Viber, Skype or other online voice chat better distances will be around 1- 6 meter,
depends on your 3G/4G or Wifi Reception areas, but it’s good enough.

Pro’s It is great for living/Rest room or outdoor, sound quality excellent with little bass, Excellent Design.

Con’s: Sadly it doesn’t have skip tracks for music, a little bit heavy.

Inside the Packaging for Rapoo A3160 is look like this (Figure 1.1), Designed to Turn lock and unlock of the container.
Sticker shows on the  container it says: 2100mah Battery Size, 33 hours continuous play and bluetooth 4.0.
On Figure 1.2, Details of the product where made it from.. It is Designed in Taiwan but produced in China.

By traveling, take it everywhere, the soft rubber part (Figure 2.3 Far Right Side) will protect from any damage/scratches areas of RAPOO A3160 Blutooth Mini Speaker.
Speaker It self made out of metal & strong plastic casing altogether. (Figure 2.1).

Why do you need USB to Micro USB cable for?
You need it for rechargeable lithium battery and Built-in portable power bank.

RAPOO A3160 using Bluetooth version 4.0, transmitting distance between 9 to 10 meter . better range for phone call around 1-9 meter.
By using Skype, Viber or other talk chat APP will be around 1-5 meter distance, depends on your reception area or Wifi/3G areas. (Figure 8.1)

 Conclusions: Compact Design small, lite weight, RAPOO A3160 Bluetooth Mini Speaker it is better use in outdoor area or gym.
It is great on distances coverage around 8-9.5 meter.
Sound Quality : I have tuned up to very loud.. levels 1 to 26, small amp – little bass, clear sound and sharp music.
Even good things is it comes with  Built-in portable power bank – limited 2100mah Battery Size.. Excellent for Emergency uses.11
Good thing its touch sensor for multi media options to go with it..

Cons: Sadly While you are listening to music, you can not skip or change functions for this RAPOO A3160 Bluetooth Mini Speaker.

I score of this 8.5 out of 10 , gave it 5 stars for best design.

 Some Bluetooth devices it is hard to compare one another, but I will give out best review for people who want to buy in reasonable prices.

AIWA Model CX-N520HD Compact Disc Stereo System

Popular Classic Compact Disc Stereo System back in around 19th century

Let’s take us to the past of tech product.

Some people will think why this? And why not Sony?

Well.. back then it was reasonable price lower then Sony’s Compact Disc Stereo System, but Sony still kept on going until now.. Except AIWA stopped, but I still prefer AIWA model.

It was huge sale on the market and has powerful sound quality, but sadly I used it 3 to 5 years, the Compact Disc compartment ran out of order… But those taps compartment are still working fine even the sound quality never fails.

I don’t mind without the CDs to play music.. but I have Desktop PC and Laptop or Ipad/Android Phone to plug it into AIWA Model CX-N520HD Stereo System, OH Yes~~ The sound quality are way better it still has the bass and high pitch quality sound until now.

So why pay more money than Sony brand.. Even you can find it in second hand shop if they still exist, however I can’t argue/judge Sony brand because some of you guys loves using Sony and I respect that.

Let’s take a detail look of AIWA Model CX-N520HD Stereo System.

Start from the back…

The most important thing is how will you able to connect to your TV, Ipad/Iphone, Android Smartphone and other gadgets.

If your Stereo System speakers is wireless then you don’t have to worry about the cables, but if you have amplifier machine of course you needed those cables. (Figure 1.1)

For this classic Stereo System’s back/behind slots needs wire/cables connection behind it.

What types of wire cable do I need? Depending how much money are you going to spent on those High quality Wire Cables, able to clip onto ‘spring clips’ showing on (Figure 1.2 and 1.3).

Some speakers on the back doesn’t tells you the details of it, but this AIWA main Speakers do, it also uses Wire cable clip into ‘spring clips’ slots. (Figure 2.1) or some speakers do use 5 Way Binding Posts, – 5-way binding posts use posts with screw-down connectors, designed to accept spade lugs, banana plugs, pin connectors and bare wire.

Back to the Front of Main Stereo System

This Stereo System can be stored three CD and two Cassette Tapes, able to slot two Karaoke Microphone and one for headphones. (Figure 3.1)

Middle part are function keys and plus FLD Display, Output Power is 600W.

If you like to go for karaoke/singing, this Stereo System enable karaoke feature options.

For one of two Cassette Tapes compartments able to record any music to another Cassette Tape or radio and CD. (Figure 3.2) and (Figure 3.4)

Three CD compartments on (Figure 3.3) gives you a visual window on the top of the stereo, the Compact Disk (CD) on the center it will show pretty colorful blinking lights while playing it.

It can store up to three Compact Disk (CD) by switching it, there will be number key on the right hand side by the visual window.

AIWA CX-N520HD Stereo Speaker L/R each one has one PolyPlas woofers, two PolyPlas midrange driver and one laminate dome tweeter, It is made in Thailand.

Not only using AIWA speakers, I’m combining with Sony Stereo Speakers, give them fusion hybrid sound quality.

This Sony Speaker Model has one PolyPlas woofers, one PolyPlas midrange driver and one laminate dome tweeter.

It uses only Wire cable, clip into ‘spring clips’ slots.

Pro’s It is great for living/Rest room home theater, sound quality excellent plus surrounding sound.

Con’s: use it for long term, the CD Compartment will fail and kept jumping music tracks.

I score of this 6 out of 10, gave it 3/5 stars for design.

Conclusion:

Back then doesn’t have DVD or Blu-Ray Disk able to play on it.  However now days.. Mostly Hi-Fi stopped using disks, they changed to be able plug-in I-Pod or Ipad or Iphone into Hi-Fi stereo able plays music, just only music not videos clips.

I wonder why they don’t want to change able to read DVD disks and able to play Mp3.. They can improve their brand so much more.

Introducing RAPOO H6020 Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Tested and checked quality of this product.

It is Adapter/Cable free, cleverly design, three different Colors and light weight (0.060kg) Bluetooth stereo headset.

Oh yes it is way lighter then “H8020” headset and for extension side arms it is well hidden.  How it is hidden? by looking at it you will think the side arms stick into each side of the earphones, but it is not, that is why it is cleverly design product.

Then how do I/you able to extending the side arms? Let me explain to you, firstly this headset can twist and turn each side of earphone, before it was flat (Figure 1.1), able to laying flat down on the table.

RAPOO Wireless Stereo Headset “H8020”

Yes It is RAPOO Brand, Model H8020 Wireless Stereo Headset.
I will review the whole thing but I won’t compare with others Wireless Stereo Headset with this RAPOO Brand, not just yet, now let’s get start the review.

Introducing RAPOO H8020 Wireless Stereo Headset

It has two different colours, one is black and one is white/light grey, but for me I likes white very much because it is so beautiful.
For the Wireless WiFi it is 2.4GHz, it has Built-in microphone plus USB transmitter.

What is the distance for the Wifi reception? well as I tested it will goes between 9-11 meter, for the best reception is below then 9.5 meter.

RAPOO H8020 Wireless Stereo Headset USB stick transmitter, it looks alike USB memory stick. ( Figure 1.1)Figure 1.1

Let’s take deeper look of functions.

It has volume up, volume down, next and previous options on the touch pad, it is on the left side of Headset.
So no matter what music album you are playing in the computer by using any software players, able to change volume and tracks just by simple touch on the left side of the Headset, quick and simple to use (Figure 2.1) 

Does it needs battery to power up this Headset?

It doesn’t need any battery, it has built-in rechargeable lithium battery inside of Headset. Recharge by using the USB to Mini B 5-Pin Power Data Cable plug to do so. (Figure 2.2). 2-hour re-charging and 8-hour ongoing enjoyment listening.
After Recharge the red right will disappear that means it is fully charged and to turn the power on just by pressing On button, above charging socket area, it will show the green light indicate it is on and ready to use. (Figure 2.2)

So what about right hand side of this Headset? well It only has extension arm able to adjust lengths from top of your head to your ear, of course left side has it as well, so RAPOO Wireless Stereo Headset “H8020” It has two sides extending arms which able to fit onto your head comfortably.

On the top of the Headset between the screws it has soft silicon surface platform, just like a sponge putting onto your head so it won’t slip away. (Figure 3.1)

Now comes to sizes, will it be able to fit on to you? The Size: Height 172mm x Width 155mm x ear muff 60mm. (Figure 4.1)

For the Weight including USB stick transmitter is 0.14 kg (Light weight).

Now comes to conclusion: RAPOO Wireless Stereo Headset H8020 It is excellent for home PC theater too, but there doesn’t have USB socket storage like RAPOO E9080 Wireless Touch pad Keyboard do.
The Quality of sound is low bass and median level of high pitch sound, that means it is equally balance quality sound output.
It is good for music also online video clips or for any other uses, but it is not recommend for gaming headphone.

I score of this 9 out of 10 , gave it 4 stars for best design.

Also Not just this model there are some models as well just like this headset, I would like to give out reviews as well but we shall see.

Firstly I would like to thank the supporter providing me this great gadget product device.

It is from RAPOO brand of Wireless Touch pad Keyboard, but I will called it Wireless Ultra Thin Multimedia Keyboard, such a mouth full of words but how this can be a “Multimedia Keyboard?”

Right now I am using it and I’m going to explain whole detail about it, so lets get start it.

Rapoo model E9080, made out of stainless steel plate Ultra-thin 4mm in height, total height from steel plate to keypad is 5.6mm, and it has IF DESIGN AWARD in 2011, design is from German and it is develop in China.

On the number pad (right hand side) also can become as touch-pad, just by enable the “Slide Here” Tab on the bottom side of number pad (Figure 1.1)

Width – 78mm x Height – 107mm, (Enable switching Touch Pad to Number pad).

While using “SLIDE HERE” tab, on the right hand side of little icon it will blink red light, that indicate the Switching mode is active.

By looking at classic traditional number pad (Figure 1.2), Rapoo E9080 (Figure 1.1)  has it all, also plus few functions like ‘back space’ ‘Slide Here Tab’ and ‘ double zero’, without the three indicate lights.
If it’s on Touch-Pad mode, you can multi touch with one to three fingers, just like optical mouse.
(by using one finger able to drag and move around with the arrow cursor.)
(by using two fingers able to scroll PgUp and PgDn.)
(by using three fingers open menu alike using right click on the mouse key.)

Now we take a look at left side of the Keyboard.

Rapoo E9080 (Figure 2.1) so how this can be a “Multimedia Keyboard?” well did you see orange colours on the top of F1-F12 keys? it has short-cut media keys just by press and hold “Fn” key can do “forward, back, open up web browser, email, music software controller and Sound volumes” Quick and easy.  For the keyboard letters key and the rest are way comfortable to press and quick reflex when you lift up any keys without hassle free.
In traditional keyboard (Figure 2.2) doesn’t have any media keys at all, It is heavier, bigger and thicker body size then Rapoo E9080 (Figure 2.1).

Lets take a look at whole body sizes Rapoo E9080 (Figure 3.1)

Whole body Weight is 0.370 kg, Border less (below 2mm).

So does it run with cable or WiFi or Bluetooth? and does it need battery to run with?

Rapoo E9080 it uses 2.4GHz wireless connection and it says best working range is up to 10 meter, so I’ve tested out and the result is the best reception working range is below 9.5 meter, if around 9.5 to 11 meter it will be slightly delay for 1 to 5 sec when you type any words.
It has USB WiFi receiver stick just plug it in the PC or Mac (Figure 4.1).

Yes it need 2x AAA Alkaline Battery to work with, also has off and on power switch (Figure 4.2).

Conclusion: Rapoo E9080 It is good for home PC theatre, I called it remote keyboard controller, just by sitting on the sofa and control your on ways, like surfing on the internet, watching Movies and many more.    It also small able to fit into any bag, carrying everywhere you likes.
Not just this model there are some models I would like to give out reviews as well, we shall see.
I score of this 10 out of 10 , gave it 5 stars for best design.

What shall we sees in the future for this Rapoo company? We shall see great things comes from this Company and They will design new and improve multimedia product gadget that I’m sure of.

 Potable Battery Tester/Analyzer/Checker Products

The most common Battery (Electricity) selling right now at world wide markets.
From Left to Right: a large 4.5-volt (3R12) battery / a D Cell / a C cell / an AA cell / an AAA cell / an AAAA cell / an A23 battery / a 9-volt PP3 battery / and a pair of button cells (CR2032 and LR44) etc …

We know its simple to tell if its the battery ran out of juice, just simply plugin into any gadgets with suitable battery, like portable stereo, wireless home phone and other gadget, of course it’s easily to see if it’s running out of Power/Electricity.

But why in the industrial production side they are still making battery tester in the field?
Remember past few years of Duracell Batteries or other known brands, for AA and AAA size, each one of them has battery tester on the side of the battery, right? because they think its convenient and quickest way to check either Dead or Alive and it’s cost more to sell in the market.  Funny that.. now in present days they changed all back to normal battery without the tester by their (Battery) side.  So now the Present they separated testers and batteries.

A lot of battery testers out there, Analog and Digital display also with battery storage.

So Analog display or Digital display which is the most accurate?
I haven’t tried others tester products, but those two (Figure 1.1 and Figure 1.2) battery testers are good enough for me to use.
But I prefer Analog instead of Digital (back to old years) it is the most accurate measure from the batteries out there.

Conclusion: “Depends on you, if you needed it”, Some of my Wifi gadget products needs batteries to work with, some do have it’s own charger and some don’t.. it is okey to have one just in-case.
All comes to your decision, Do I really have to get this? I would say “maybe yes” and “maybe no”, depends how you use it with your batteries, ask yourself few questions “do I need to check?, knowing the batteries still got some power in it?”

I will do reviews for every brand batteries out there, if I can acquire them someday.
I know its still not enough to test them out…. maybe someday will.

International Travel AC power plugs and sockets

Why I choose this for my first product review?
Well every house hold, in different country or world wide hotels has an different AC Power sockets, so each one of you have a Smart Phone or basic mobile which needs to be fully charge and able to work again.
It is the most important “Consumer Electronics Products” in the world.

So lets get started…

Personal use
Okey, I’ve got here are two different type of International Travel AC power plugs and sockets products, here they are (Currently owned.)

International Travel Adapter 01: Made in Taiwan, Voltage : 100v – 240v, Have three sockets, has New Zealand power plug.
Pros’ “Its better use in the house hold and able to plug more then one personal gadgets to power up.”
Cons’ “Sadly it doesn’t have USB 2.0 slot and only it has single power plug at the end.”

International Travel Adapter 02: Made in China, Voltage : 100 – 250v, 50/60 Hz, Only have one Socket plus  USB 2.0 Slot and it has three power plugs.
Pros’ “Able to travel everywhere with it, it also has USB 2.0 Slot.”
Cons’ “Disappointing with it, only contain with one international power socket.”
In Figure 1.2, It looks like one Adaptor right? actually it can split, push two little side buttons and release, looking like this… (Figure 1.3)

Now we know those two adaptors can do, what happen if I plug them each other like this…

Both of them are quiet in handy travel to other countries and able to plug your gadgets more then one.
I give this Score 9 out of 10, but why I give 9 not 10?
Personally I am product user and tester, to give out reviews, which I will find a solution and negative side of it.
So this is what I found out, USB 2.0 has Only one socket, but if you have more then 3 or 4 USB socket adaptor, yes you can power some gadgets which uses USB cable to power up.
Depends on you, either to carrying more then three or four adaptors, or only use those two adaptors like on the “Figure 1.1 and Figure 1.2”.

What about the others AC power adaptors? In the past I has tried and brought few of them like these…

Cons’ “You have to get the same amount for each of your own personal gadgets.”

Now comes to conclusion: “No matter where you are, travel to every places, better Do NOT carrying between 6-20 adaptors”, you need more space to carrying gifts, clothes and others unexpected items, to go back to your home town.
All it comes to, if you have international gadget products, is this the right product for you? I believe it “YES”, that is why I use these and able power/charge battery of my smart phone, Laptop, Android and Apple Tablet and hair dryer.
